Changed Files

 

Unfortunately from time to time it comes to my attention that a file of mine is not working as it should. I decided to make this page as a way of letting you know which files these are. None of these will cause any serious issues, just may be wrongly categorised or not look quite right. This is due to a learning curve for me, I do not know everything and can’t anticipate those things when I make the files. It is only later when I am playing that they become apparent or someone lets me know that this is the case.

 

Recently there seems to be a problem with some of the maternity items. This is because when I was making them I didn’t know that I needed to give the meshes a different name, doing that was a new thing for me and there’s no real manual, it’s something I have mostly taught myself over time. So some of the items that are supposed to be say a swimsuit will look odd, like a pair of trousers or a dress shape instead. When I first realised this, I changed all the files and reuploaded them here, but some people may still have an older item, also some files somehow didn’t get replaced as they should have done. So the old ones were still here. This week I have gone through and tested all of them together in my game and they are working correctly. I have reuploaded them all again just to make sure.

 

Some of my teen maternity clothing has been showing up as random, as they are based on adult meshes this means that if a bottom was paired with a standard teen top it wouldn’t look right. I thought I had caught all of those files several months ago, but again I had missed one or two. If you have any of those files, you will know which ones, they have now been fixed and you are welcome to replace the old ones with the new.

 

It’s also been brought to my attention that some items are being used for maternity but no bump appears, these aren’t the maternity clothes, just some pants and bras from adult female sleepwear, also after testing I discovered one top and a pair of shorts in adult female everyday. This is because they were based on the naked mesh, which is supposed to be maternity but doesn’t work right in game.

A problem with maternity outfits since Late Night. The selected outfit doesn’t say on

once the sim shows the pregnancy. The following items now are categorised as maternity.

If anyone ever has any issues at all with any of my items will you please let me know, then I can fix them. I don’t anticipate any problems, but I didn’t anticipate these either. However I have done all I can to ensure that every file I make works perfectly.
