Change the Category of Clothing Files with CAS
If you’re not happy with the way my clothing package files are categorized
you can change them quickly using this tutorial.
Go here and get CasTextureUnitool.rar and CasParts.rar download to desktop and unzip. Then take the casparts file out of the main folder and place it into the CasTextureUnitool folder.
1. Open up the file that you want to change.
2. Click the DESIGNS tab to ensure you have chosen the right file.
3. Click the PART CATEGORY tab and tick or untick the boxes that you want to change. You can make adult clothing work for teens or elders for instance. Or you can change everyday to athletic or any other combination. Random will make clothing show up on your townie sims too.
4. When you have changed the file to the categories you like, click commit, then click FILE then SAVE. Do not click SAVE AS. Pop it into your mods folder. Your file has been changed and will be available in the new categories you selected in your game.
